could you introduce yourselves and explain what each of your roles in milkk are?

Pat: I'm Pat, and I sing and play some keys and guitar live and then write and produce most of the songs.

John: I'm John. I play drums live and then do most of the visual direction for the band.

Jack: Jack. I play guitar and do our engineering, mixing, and mastering.

for those who don’t know, what genre or mood does milkk’s music fall under?

Pat: I think John said it best when he said, "It's like you're tapping your foot and then all of a sudden you wonder why you're crying." It's just music that makes you feel something, one way or another.

have you (individually) always seen yourselves doing music?

Pat: I think we all started at a relatively young age. We've all been playing and doing music related projects since we were in junior high. And it's something that you always go back to if you really love it.

what influences your artistic presence (cover art, band photos, etc)?

John: A lot of high fashion and art in general. Trying to stay on top of what's going on in the creative world overall.

favorite song at the moment?

Pat: "Stupid" by MILKK.

how did the “hating” pat movement start? would you say that you have a unique relationship with your fan base?

Pat: It just started with my own self-hatred probably. I trashed myself enough that people joined in. And now it's like a love language or something. And yes. I think the relationship we've built with our fans is very special. It's somehow very close but still very respectful.

do you prefer stripped, acoustic sets or more “full band” performances?

All: Full band.

Pat: Yeah, I enjoy the stripped down sets, but full band is really how MILKK is meant to be seen.

is it strange to see people getting tattoos in honour of your band?

Pat: It's fun. It's cool to see that people care about us and the community and the feeling behind it all that they wanna permanently mark themselves with that memory.

favorite disney movie?

John: Toy Story.

Jack: Lion King.

Pat: Aladdin or the old Robin Hood maybe.

who would you love to tour with?

Pat: Guy Fieri.

where do you see milkk a year from now?

Pat: Hopefully buying Gucci slides.
